Effective June 21, 2026
Clouds is a turn-based strategy game. It does not require an account, shows no advertising, and runs no third-party analytics. This page explains the small amount of data the game does handle and why.
This policy applies to the Clouds mobile application (package
com.seda.clouds), published by Kaz Kalur ("we," "us").
By using the app you agree to the handling of information described here.
The game saves your preferences and progress — such as settings, options, and game state — in your device's local storage. This information stays on your device. We do not have a server that collects it, and it is not transmitted to us or to anyone else. It remains until you clear the app's data or uninstall the app.
The app also keeps a small diagnostic buffer in memory while you play, used only to help the game run correctly during a session. This buffer is not transmitted off your device and is discarded when the app closes.
If you choose to play online, the game connects your device directly to your opponent's device (a peer-to-peer connection). Establishing that connection necessarily involves exchanging network connection information, including IP addresses, between the two devices and the services that help them find each other and route traffic.
Two supporting services make this work:
This network data is used only to set up and carry your multiplayer session. It is not used to advertise to you, to build a profile, or for any purpose unrelated to connecting the game. If you play offline (single-player or local matches), no network connection data is shared.
The connection broker and relay described above are operated through third parties (the PeerJS brokering service and Cloudflare) and handle network connection data on our behalf to enable online play. Their own handling of that data is governed by their respective terms and privacy practices. We do not share your stored game data with them; the only information involved is the connection data required to route a multiplayer session.
Clouds is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app has no accounts, no chat, no ads, and no personal-data collection. The only data handled is on-device game state and the connection data needed for optional online play.
On-device data (settings and progress) remains until you clear the app's data or uninstall the app — doing either removes it. The multiplayer relay forwards connection traffic to route live sessions and is not a place where your game data is stored. Because we operate no account system and no server-side store of personal data, there is no account for us to delete.
We aim to handle the limited data above responsibly. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but because the app holds no accounts and stores game data only on your own device, the personal information at stake is minimal by design.
You can avoid sharing any network connection data by playing offline. You can remove all on-device data at any time by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it. Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights regarding personal data; given how little data the app handles, you can exercise any such rights by contacting us at the address below.
We may update this policy if the app changes. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
