A Sky-High Strategy Battle

Welcome

Clouds is a serene game of strategy played in the sky. You place, move, and merge clouds against a rival to seize control of the board — every cloud type behaves differently, and learning how they move, fight, and combine is the whole game. This page has everything you need to get started, troubleshoot, and reach us.

How to Play

A three-part interactive tutorial walks you through the basics the first time you play. In short:

Movement

Tap a cloud to select it, then tap a highlighted tile to move. Each cloud type has its own range — some drift further than others.

Combat

Move onto a rival cloud to attack it. Outcomes depend on the cloud types involved and the current weather, so read the board before you commit.

Merging

Move two matching clouds together to merge them into the next tier. Keep climbing the tiers all the way up to Cosmic power.

Cloud Types

Eight clouds, eight playstyles. Match them to the moment:

Rain — defends harder
Thunder — hits harder
Sun — travels further
Updraft — blows tiles away
Typhoon — fortifies your allies
Life — spawns extra clouds
Void — destroys tower clouds
Cosmic — invulnerable to most attacks

Weather Changes Everything

The board's weather opens up new ways to attack and defend:

Read the conditions and bend them to your plan.

FAQ & Troubleshooting

Do I need an account?

No. There's no sign-up, no login, and no ads. Your settings and progress stay on your device.

How does online multiplayer work — and is it private?

Online matches connect peer-to-peer and are routed through a relay, so you and your opponent never see each other's IP address. There's no game server storing your data and no chat — players only exchange game moves.

I can't connect to an online match. What can I do?

Make sure both players are online and using the same room code (codes are case-sensitive). If you're on a restrictive network (some workplaces, schools, or strict firewalls), try a different connection or mobile data. Re-sharing a fresh room code usually clears a stuck connection.

Which platforms is Clouds on?

Clouds is available on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. The download link is in the footer below.

Does Clouds cost anything or have in-app purchases?

There are no in-app purchases and no ads. Pricing depends on the store you download from — see the store listing.
