Everything you need to get flying — how the game plays, how scoring works, and what to do when something’s off.

Welcome

Sky Song is a piano-lane rhythm/flight game. A little light-being flies through a parallaxing sky, and musical notes fall toward you along piano lanes. Steer into each note exactly on the beat to play the melody yourself. The journey is ten hand-charted classical stages — clear one song to unlock the next.

How to Play

A short interactive tutorial walks you through the basics the first time you play. In short:

Steering

Touch / mouse: drag anywhere to glide between lanes, and flick to cross several lanes at once. Keyboard: the ← / → arrow keys nudge one lane at a time.

Catching notes

Meet each note dead-center as it reaches you for a Perfect. Close counts as Good. Missing a note breaks your combo. Chords ask you to be centered between lanes — trust the glow.

The prism state

String 25 Perfects in a row and the prism ignites — a rainbow streak around your flyer, prismatic flares, and fireworks when the song closes. It lasts as long as your streak does.

Stars and mastery

Finishing a song earns up to three stars: clear it for 1★, beat the Great score mark for 2★, and play a full-perfect run (every note Perfect, zero misses) for 3★. Three stars on all three difficulties turns the song’s card gold — Mastered.

Difficulties

Every song has Easy, Normal, and Hard charts. Easy is unloseable and always unlocks the next stage; Normal and Hard ask for real precision and chart the full melody.

Rewind and autoplay

Missed a note? The rewind button steps the song back a phrase so you can retry it instantly. Once you’ve perfected a stage, its button becomes autoplay — sit back and watch the game play your song to perfection, with an optional chain that flows through every stage you’ve mastered.

FAQ & Troubleshooting

Do I need an account?

No. There’s no sign-up, no login, and no ads. Your stars, unlocked stages, and settings stay on your device.

Where is my progress saved?

Progress is stored locally on your device. Deleting the app’s data or uninstalling it resets the journey, so be careful with “clear data” options. There’s no cloud sync.

The notes and the music feel out of sync. What can I do?

Some devices (especially Bluetooth audio) add latency. Sky Song keeps a per-device A/V sync tune — open Settings and adjust the sync until the hits land exactly on the beat. Wired audio or speakers give the tightest feel.

Which platforms is Sky Song on?

Sky Song is available on iPhone and iPad via the App Store, and on Android via Google Play. Your progress is stored on each device separately.

Does Sky Song cost anything or have in-app purchases?

There are no in-app purchases and no ads on any platform — pricing depends on the store you download from; see the store listing.

What languages is the game in?

English, Español, Français, Deutsch, and 日本語. Switch any time from Settings.

The game won’t load / something looks wrong on my device.

First, fully close and restart the app — that clears most oddities — and make sure you’re on the latest version from the store. If it persists, email us (below) with your device, OS version, which song/stage it happened on, and a screenshot — that combination solves most reports quickly. (Avoid reinstalling unless we suggest it: progress lives on the device, and reinstalling wipes it.)

How do I report a bug or share feedback?

Email us with the device, the platform, which song/stage it happened on, and what you saw (a screenshot or short screen recording helps a lot). Contact details are below.
