Everything you need to get flying — the controls, how a run works, and what to do when something looks wrong.

Welcome

Last Attack X is a portrait-first aerial action roguelike. You fly freely above a whole spherical planet, lock on to enemies to pull them into a sky arena, and rebuild your fighter every run from skill cards, relics and elements. A short guided tutorial walks you through each system the first time it appears — nothing is sprung on you unexplained.

Controls

The game is designed to be played one-handed in portrait. There is no virtual joystick: the screen itself is the stick.

DragSteer. Your fighter banks and turns toward wherever your thumb pulls.
TapAttack. In a clash, tap fast and repeatedly to win the push.
Hold, then releaseCharge a beam and fire it. There are two charge tiers — the longer the hold, the bigger the hit.
FlickDash. Flick sideways to strafe around a target, forward to close, back to break away.

Tap the targetToggle lock-on. Locking is what opens the arena.

Keyboard (desktop testing)

How a run works

Flying

The planet is a sphere and you can go anywhere on it. The compass, minimap and world tracker point at what's worth reaching; the ping (sonar) reveals things nearby that aren't visible yet. Landmarks, shrines, chests, breakables and element nodes are all out there to be found rather than handed to you.

Fighting

Lock on and an arena closes around you and your target. Inside it the fight is an orbit: circle, close for melee, back off and charge, watch for the enemy's wind-up tell and dodge through it. Enemies telegraph their skill cards before they land — the star flash is your cue.

Cards, relics and elements

Your skill cards sit in sets of four and cycle as you cast them; order matters, because some of the strongest traits only fire on the last card of a set. Relics are always-on equipment in seven slots, at different rarities. Elements are collected in the world and fused — two primaries make one of 28 super elements, each with its own trigger condition. Read the trigger before you commit: it decides whether the effect ever happens.

Weather and hazards

Every run gets a sky, and it changes on its own schedule. Some weather helps you. Some of it actively damages you — when it does, the ground shows you where the danger pockets are, and there are ways to be shielded from it.

Progress between runs

Runs end. What carries forward are permanent stat items, unlocked content and your ascension level — so a losing run is still a run that moved you along. Your current run is saved as you play, so you can close the app mid-run and Continue from the start screen.

FAQ & troubleshooting

Do I need an account or an internet connection?

No game account is required. Ordinary gameplay works offline, including in airplane mode. Forthcoming rewarded-ad builds offer optional online ads for a revive or an extra boss reward. Those ads require a connection; declining an ad leaves the ordinary game outcome and normal boss reward available. Existing ad-free builds do not include these offers.

Where is my progress saved?

Progress is saved locally. We do not operate a game-account or cloud-save service. Your device's backup or transfer tools may preserve app data, depending on your settings, but we cannot restore it from a game server. Clearing app data or reinstalling can lose progress, so avoid those steps when troubleshooting.

Does it cost anything? Are there in-app purchases?

See your store listing for current pricing. The current game has no in-app purchases, energy timers or currency to buy. Optional rewarded ads are planned for a forthcoming update; those offers will not require a purchase. The store listing and your installed build determine which features are available.

How will optional ad rewards work?

In rewarded-ad builds, the offer states the reward before you choose to watch: a revive with the displayed amount of health, or one extra boss pick. Your normal boss reward needs no ad. Closing before the ad service reports completion does not earn the extra reward. A completed revive returns to a confirmation screen before gameplay resumes.

An ad is unavailable, failed, or did not grant its reward.

Check your connection and try again later. Ads may be unavailable even when you are online, and failed or incomplete ads do not grant rewards. You can still take your normal boss pick or end the failed run. If a completed ad appears to have lost its reward, tell support your game version, device, approximate time and which offer you used. Do not reset your game or repeatedly click ads to troubleshoot.

Where can I change advertising privacy choices?

In rewarded-ad builds, open Settings → Ad privacy choices to view the form available for your region. The current implementation does not request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission. Advertising can still involve data processing without that permission. See the privacy policy and available controls.

Which devices does it run on?

iPhone and iPad via the App Store, and Android phones and tablets via Google Play. It's a portrait game and stays portrait on every device.

Can I play it in landscape?

No — Last Attack X is portrait-only by design. The whole control scheme assumes one thumb on a phone held upright.

I lost a run / my build. Can it be restored?

A run in progress is saved automatically and waits for you behind Continue. A run that ended is over by design — that's the roguelike part. Permanent progress (stat items, unlocks, ascension) is kept either way.

How do I reset my progress?

Settings → Reset Game erases all progress and starts you from the beginning. It asks for confirmation first, and it cannot be undone. Your volume and language settings are kept.

The game runs slowly or the screen looks wrong.

Fully close and reopen the app first — that clears most oddities — and make sure you're on the latest version from the store. If it persists, email us with your device model, OS version, what you were doing, and a screenshot or short screen recording. That combination solves most reports quickly. (Avoid reinstalling unless we suggest it: progress lives on the device, and reinstalling wipes it.)

Something in the game seems wrong or unfair.

Tell us — genuinely. A lot of what shipped got fixed because a player described what they saw. Include the world, the enemy or card involved, and a recording if you can get one.

What languages is the game in?

English at the moment. More may follow.
