Why did my card change rarity but keep its name?
Leveling improves the held card and can raise its rarity at the same time. The name remains the same because it is still that skill. Inspect the upgrade preview to see which values changed. Fighting Aura also has several starting rarity forms within one skill family.
Primary Elements do not have upgrade levels. Super Elements do. A card’s stored level, its effective level during a temporary effect, and the tier of its slotted Super Element are separate values.
Why can’t these two elements combine?
Two primaries use the fusion matrix. Two Super Elements must have the same name and the same level, and they must be below the cap. A primary and a Super Element never combine. If the preview refuses a pair, check the item classes before looking for a different recipe.
Phumi plus Kali produces a Cosmic Primary Element with a unique slot choice. Put it in the primary slot for the skill’s Cosmic variant, or in the Super Element slot for an extra effective card level. Removing it from the Super Element slot returns a Cosmic Primary Element to your bag. Always inspect the chosen slot and its preview.
Why is a reward or world still locked?
Some content needs both a certain number of clears and a minimum selected Ascension. A clear means a won run. Meeting one requirement does not remove the other, and an eligible item still needs to come from an appropriate reward source.
Some skills and relics are special rewards. Guardian’s Call comes from a guardian, and Treasure Sense comes through the wisp secret. Their absence from ordinary random rewards does not mean your save has failed to unlock them.
The active run contains three worlds. Authored locations outside the current run pool should not be treated as stages you are guaranteed to visit.
What happens when I lose or start again?
The run’s cards, relics, elements, crystals, stat bonuses and infusions belong to that run. Travelling between planets keeps the build; starting a fresh run replaces it. Clear history, unlocked Ascensions and profile discoveries are the progression that persists.
The game can resume an unfinished run, but an inventory discard’s temporary undo is not saved as permanent storage. If you remove a card or relic accidentally, use the recovery opportunity before making another inventory transaction.
Why does the damage differ from a calculator?
A base-hit calculation does not include every live effect. Primary variants, traits, relics, buffs, debuffs, hit outcomes and multi-hit attack behavior can change the result. Check whether the hit was glancing or critical and whether every part of the attack connected.
If a trait appears inactive, read its trigger. First hit is not every hit; last card means the last cast of the current set; an already-debuffed condition needs a prior status. Fixing the sequence often helps more than adding another damage item.
