Delete your Journey’s End account
Journey’s End by Edenworks
In the game: tap your portrait on the title screen → Account Center → Delete account, then confirm. It works for guest accounts and for accounts linked to Google, Apple or email. Without the app: email support@edenworks.ca from the email address linked to the account, with the subject “Delete my Journey’s End account” and your public player ID if you have it.
Steps
- Open Journey’s End and tap your portrait in the top corner of the title screen.
- Open Account Center and choose Delete account.
- Review what will be removed and confirm. A linked account may ask you to sign in again first; a guest account confirms on this device.
- A guest account is erased right away. A linked account can still be kept: within 30 days, sign in and tap Keep my account. To erase it without waiting, tap Delete now instead.
- The game on your device then starts over as a new player.
If you can’t open the app, email us as above. We verify that the account is yours before deleting it, so we never delete someone else’s account.
What is deleted
- Your online account and its sign-in identity (guest, Google, Apple or email).
- Your online progress, runs, results, rewards and checkpoints.
- Your public profile (player ID, nickname and portrait) and your entries in every ranking, including past months.
- Your privacy choices, your Terms and Privacy agreement record, the game reports linked to your account and the record of which days you played.
Your account stops working as soon as you confirm, and your public profile and rankings are hidden. A guest account is erased right away (usually within an hour). A linked account is erased 30 days later and cannot be recovered after that. Until then you can keep it (Keep my account), or have it erased without waiting (Delete now, usually within an hour). Either way, the game on your device starts over as a new player.
What is kept, and for how long
- Server backups: up to 14 days after the account is erased, until they expire. Backups are never used to bring a deleted account back.
- A minimal deletion record: an internal ID, the date and the retired sign-in ID, with no profile, so the deleted account cannot be recreated by an old sign-in.
- Daily totals that contain no player identifiers.
- Gameplay statistics and crash reports (GameAnalytics, Sentry) are not linked to your account; they expire as described in the Privacy Policy.
Data on your device
Offline progress and settings are stored on your device. Remove them by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling. Uninstalling alone does not delete an online account.
Turning off data without deleting your account
In Settings → Privacy (in versions with online play: your profile → Privacy choices) you can turn off gameplay statistics, crash reports and personalised ads at any time. For other requests, email support@edenworks.ca.
