Builds

Build recommendations

Start with a purpose, then adapt to the rewards your run gives you.

These are mechanic-based starting points, not a tested tier list. Each example uses four cards for the opening hand; complete the deck and relic slots as your run develops.

Learn the fight

A steady opening hand

Beam gives you a clear attack window. Barrier, Second Breath and recovery help you stay in control while you learn enemy tells. You give up burst damage for more room to make a mistake.

Keep in mind

Charged attacks and specials still break Barrier. Do not use a long beam just because the shield is up.

Ranged damage

Keep the pressure on

Combine sustained and repeated ranged attacks with resource recovery. Pyro supports damage pressure; an available stamina refill helps you reposition when the enemy closes in.

Keep in mind

This hand is light on healing and protection. Add survivability through later cards or relics if fights outlast your resources.

Melee control

Create a close-range opening

Bring the target into a favorable position, commit a close-range attack, then recover behind a defensive option. Read each Geo and Aero variant to choose the control effect you need.

Keep in mind

Moving the enemy is not the same as interrupting its attack. Watch for armor and committed specials before closing the distance.

Channel support

Prepare a heavy cast

Energy Bomb needs a safe channel. Use positioning and defensive tools to make the opening, and treat the bomb as your payoff rather than the first button you press.

Keep in mind

This is a later-run concept, not a guaranteed starter. Cosmic access and individual reward gates matter, and a broken defense can leave the channel exposed.
